Tzitzit Same Material as Garment

p. 30 Chapter Ten 

3. Zizit made from other materials may only be used on clothes of the same material, such as silk zizit on silk clothes, cotton zizit on cotton clothes, but if one placed them on  other materials one has not fulfilled one's obligation. (Sh.Ar.9)
